Shared Memory for Microsoft Copilot

Shared with your team and across your AI tools.

MMRY AI gives Microsoft Copilot shared memory that you share with your team and across your AI tools: one memory that Microsoft Copilot, Claude, ChatGPT, Claude Code and your other connected AI tools all read and save. Add MMRY AI as an MCP server to an agent in Microsoft Copilot Studio, make the agent available in Microsoft Copilot, and what you save there is there in your other tools on the same account. Memories you share with your team are there for each teammate in the AI tools they connect.

What Microsoft requires

Microsoft requires generative orchestration to be turned on for an agent to use MCP, and Copilot Studio connects to MCP servers over the Streamable transport that MMRY AI uses. You need permission to create and access a Copilot Studio environment. Your organization must allow Power Platform apps to be added to Teams, and data policies for Power Platform connectors also apply to the MMRY AI server in your agent.

Shared memory for Microsoft Copilot: FAQ

What is shared memory for Microsoft Copilot?

Shared memory for Microsoft Copilot means memory shared with your team and across your AI tools. Microsoft Copilot reads and saves the same memories as your other AI tools, and the memories you share with your team are there for each teammate in the AI tools they connect. MMRY AI keeps those memories in your MMRY AI account, so what you save through your Copilot agent is there in Claude Code, Claude, ChatGPT and Codex when they are connected to the same account, and the other way round.

Can Microsoft Copilot connect to an MCP server?

Yes, through Microsoft Copilot Studio. You add the MCP server to a Copilot Studio agent as a tool, then make the agent available in Microsoft Copilot and Teams, where you call it with @.

Does Microsoft Copilot remember previous chats with MMRY AI?

Yes, through your MMRY AI account. In any new chat with your agent, ask it to load your MMRY memories and it picks up your most recent memories, or ask it to search for something specific you saved.

How do I add MMRY AI to Copilot Studio?

On your agent's Tools page, select Add a tool, New tool, then Model Context Protocol, and enter https://mmryai.com/mcp as the Server URL. Choose OAuth 2.0 with Dynamic discovery, create a new connection, sign in to your MMRY AI account, and select Add to agent.

Do I need a client ID or secret?

No. With OAuth 2.0 and Dynamic discovery, Copilot Studio finds the MMRY AI sign-in endpoints and registers itself, so you only sign in. Microsoft asks for a client ID and client secret only with the Manual option.

What do I need from Microsoft?

Microsoft lists permission to create and access a Copilot Studio environment, generative orchestration turned on for the agent, and an organization that allows Power Platform apps to be added to Teams. Data policies for Power Platform connectors also apply to MCP servers in your agent.

Can Microsoft Copilot share memory with ChatGPT and Claude?

Yes. Connect your Copilot agent, ChatGPT and Claude to the same MMRY AI account, and they read and save the same memories. ChatGPT and Claude connect with the same address, https://mmryai.com/mcp, and Claude Code and Codex connect through the MMRY AI plugin.

Can my team share memories through Microsoft Copilot?

Yes. Each person on your team signs in to their own MMRY AI account in your organization, and each memory is private, shared with a memory group, or open to your organization. Later, you can change who sees a memory you saved, from any connected tool.

How do I correct or remove a memory I saved in Microsoft Copilot?

Ask your agent to save the correction as a new memory, and remove a memory in Claude Code or Codex. Your agent can also make a memory you saved private, so only you see it.

Is there a free trial?

Yes. MMRY AI starts with a 14-day free trial, then continues on a per-user monthly plan; the current price is at mmryai.com/pricing. Every user adds credits to your team's shared pool, and if the pool runs out before the month ends your plan renews early so your team keeps working.
