Shared Memory for Gemini
Shared with your team and across your AI tools.
MMRY AI gives Gemini shared memory that you share with your team and across your AI tools: one memory that Gemini, Claude, ChatGPT, Claude Code and your other connected AI tools all read and save. Add MMRY AI to the Gemini web app as a custom app, or to Gemini CLI as a remote MCP server, and what you save in Gemini is there in your other tools on the same account. Memories you share with your team are there for each teammate in the AI tools they connect.

Google offers custom apps to people 18 or over in the US who sign in to the Gemini web app with a personal Google Account, use it in English and have Keep Activity on. You add the custom app in the Gemini web app, and it is then available in the Gemini mobile app too.
In Gemini CLI
Add MMRY AI as a remote MCP server with gemini mcp add --transport http --scope user mmry https://mmryai.com/mcp. Start Gemini CLI with gemini and run /mcp auth mmry. Your browser opens the MMRY AI sign-in page, where you sign in to your MMRY AI account and approve the connection. Run it on a computer that can open a web browser, because Gemini CLI signs in through your browser. The /mcp command then lists the MMRY AI tools.

Shared memory for Gemini: FAQ
What is shared memory for Gemini?
Shared memory for Gemini means memory shared with your team and across your AI tools. Gemini reads and saves the same memories as your other AI tools, and the memories you share with your team are there for each teammate in the AI tools they connect. MMRY AI keeps those memories in your MMRY AI account, so what you save in Gemini is there in Claude Code, Claude, ChatGPT and Codex when they are connected to the same account, and the other way round.
Does Gemini remember previous chats with MMRY AI?
Yes, through your MMRY AI account. In any new chat, ask Gemini to load your MMRY memories and it picks up your most recent memories, or ask it to search for something specific you saved.
How do I add a custom MCP server to Gemini?
In the Gemini web app, go to Settings, then Connected Apps, select Add a custom app, enter https://mmryai.com/mcp and select Next, then sign in to your MMRY AI account and approve the connection. In Gemini CLI, run gemini mcp add --transport http --scope user mmry https://mmryai.com/mcp, then run /mcp auth mmry and sign in.
Who can add a custom app in Gemini?
Google offers custom apps in the Gemini web app to people 18 or over in the US who sign in with a personal Google Account, use Gemini in English and have Keep Activity on. Google's help page for custom apps names no paid plan. Work and school Google Accounts cannot add custom apps for now.
Do I need a client ID or secret to connect Gemini?
No. MMRY AI supports dynamic client registration, so Gemini registers itself and you only sign in. Google asks for credentials only when a server does not support dynamic client registration, and Gemini CLI needs no client ID with dynamic registration.
Can Gemini share memory with Claude and ChatGPT?
Yes. Connect Gemini, Claude and ChatGPT to the same MMRY AI account, and they read and save the same memories. Claude and ChatGPT connect with the same address, https://mmryai.com/mcp, and Claude Code and Codex connect through the MMRY AI plugin.
Can my team share memories through Gemini?
Yes. Each person on your team signs in to their own MMRY AI account in your organization and connects Gemini, and each memory is private, shared with a memory group, or open to your organization. Later, you can change who sees a memory you saved, from any connected tool.
How do I correct or remove a memory I saved in Gemini?
Ask Gemini to save the correction as a new memory, and remove a memory in Claude Code or Codex. Gemini can also make a memory you saved private, so only you see it.
Is there a free trial?
Yes. MMRY AI starts with a 14-day free trial, then continues on a per-user monthly plan; the current price is at mmryai.com/pricing. Every user adds credits to your team's shared pool, and if the pool runs out before the month ends your plan renews early so your team keeps working.
