How to set up MMRY AI in Claude

  1. Start your free trial. Create your MMRY AI account at mmryai.com/setup.
  2. Open Connectors in Claude. In Claude on the web or in Claude Desktop, go to Customize, then Connectors, and select Add custom connector. If Claude shows an Add button first, select it, then select Add custom connector.
  3. Enter the MMRY AI address. Name it MMRY AI and enter the remote MCP server URL https://mmryai.com/mcp. If Claude shows Continue, select it.
  4. Choose the sign-in settings. If Claude asks how people connect, choose Sign in now under Authentication and Register automatically under OAuth client. If Claude shows Advanced settings instead, leave the OAuth client ID and secret empty. MMRY AI needs no client ID or secret. Select Add.
  5. Sign in. When Claude opens the MMRY AI sign-in page, sign in to your MMRY AI account and approve the connection. If Claude shows a Connect button next to MMRY AI instead, select it to open the sign-in page.
  6. Use it in a chat. Start a new chat, select the plus button, then Connectors, turn on MMRY AI, and ask Claude to load your MMRY memories.

On a Claude Team or Enterprise plan

An Owner adds MMRY AI once for the whole organization. In Organization settings, then Connectors, select Add, then Custom, and choose Web if Claude asks. Enter the name MMRY AI and the address https://mmryai.com/mcp, choose the same sign-in settings as in step 4, and select Add.

Each member then goes to Customize, then Connectors, finds MMRY AI with its Custom label, selects Connect, and signs in to their own MMRY AI account. To share memories with each other, members join your organization on MMRY AI when your MMRY AI administrator invites them.

What is shared memory for Claude?

Shared memory for Claude means memory shared with your team and across your AI tools. Claude reads and saves the same memories as your other AI tools, and the memories you share with your team are there for each teammate in the AI tools they connect. MMRY AI keeps those memories in your MMRY AI account, so what you save in Claude is there in ChatGPT, Claude Code and Codex when they are connected to the same account, and the other way round.

Does Claude remember previous conversations with MMRY AI?

Yes, through your MMRY AI account. In any new chat with MMRY AI turned on, ask Claude to load your MMRY memories and it picks up the context you saved before, or ask it to search MMRY for something specific.

How do I add a custom connector to Claude?

In Claude, go to Customize, then Connectors, select Add custom connector, and enter https://mmryai.com/mcp as the server URL. If Claude asks for an OAuth client, choose Register automatically: Claude registers itself with MMRY AI, so there are no client IDs or secrets to manage.

Which Claude plans can add MMRY AI?

You can add MMRY AI from any Claude plan that offers custom connectors. Anthropic offers them on Free, Pro, Max, Team and Enterprise plans, and a Free plan can add one custom connector.

Does MMRY AI work in Claude Desktop?

Yes. A custom connector is part of your Claude account, so MMRY AI is there in Claude Desktop and in Claude on the web once you add it.

Who adds MMRY AI on a Claude Team or Enterprise plan?

An Owner adds MMRY AI once in Organization settings, then Connectors, and each member connects to it with their own MMRY AI account. Members ask an Owner to add it for the organization.

Can my team share memories through Claude?

Yes. Each person connects Claude to MMRY AI, and each memory is private, shared with a memory group, or open to your organization. Later, you can change who sees a memory you saved, from any connected tool.

Can Claude share memory with ChatGPT?

Yes. Connect Claude and ChatGPT to the same MMRY AI account, and both read and save the same memories. ChatGPT connects with the same custom connector address, https://mmryai.com/mcp.

How is this different from MMRY AI in Claude Code?

How do I correct or remove a memory I saved in Claude?

Ask Claude to save the correction as a new memory, and remove a memory in Claude Code or Codex. Claude can also make a memory you saved private, so only you see it.
